News and Covers Tchaikovsky and Buchanon

First, I hear people are already getting limited, numbered ARCs of Wise Man's Fear [US] [UK] (Kingkiller Chronicle Day 2) by Patrick Rothfuss. Consider me extremely jealous. But mostly I'm just happy that it is in fact a reality.

Love this one:
Not so much of a fan here outside of the background:

Not a huge fan of models dressed up medievally on my covers. Thoughts?

  1. I much prefer the Tchaikovsky cover here, I love the colours of it. The Buchanan one looks pretty weak, though.

  2. Sorry, I tried to respond to you sooner (like days ago), but blogger wouldn't let me. Pretty much agree all around here. The Tchaikovsky covers are looking too cool. I can't wait to start that series.

  3. Agree with both of you... the Buchanan cover is just generically blah. Gender-ambiguous, whiny-looking models aren't my thing either.
