Oh Boy Oh Boy!

Quick announcement. My wife and I just had a 3D ultrasound done and ... it's a boy!

My wife's been making fun of me since we found out she was pregnant because I automatically started referring to the baby as he and him, but little did she know, I knew it all along. :)

We got to see a yawn and found out he's got a big head and long legs. Takes after Dad I guess (I'm 6'5").

Hope everyone's having a great weekend, we're a bit excited here at The Stamp.

  3. Congratulations!! That's awesome! I have three boys myself and they can be a lot of fun, though they make a real mess out of the bathroom (just a warning. So enjoy your clean bathroom now)
Hope your wife is feeling good.

  4. I can't wait! She's actually doing pretty well. She never got morning sickness, she's just had a constant stomach ache. Otherwise she's dreading becoming huge but we've been hitting up maternity stores like crazy.

  10. I don't think it will become real until I miss that first night of sleep, when I still won't really know if it's real. :) Thanks PW!

  12. Congrats on a baby boy. Sounds as all is well with mother and son. That is the best part!

I remember when I was pregnant with my son and I kept calling the baby him, and of all names - Bub. Everyone thought I was crazy saying I was having a boy. My husband never said anything. Then when we had that sonagram done and saw the baby was a boy, everyone was shocked. It is strange how you just take to one side, and then are right.

Congrats on making the call, and the healthy child to be!!!

  14. Hey thanks everyone.

Melissa, that's hilarious and I totally did the same thing although Bub is even better. And yup, everyone's as healthy as can be so far which we're so grateful for.

Alec, haha, I really do love my sleep and that seems to be the first thing to go.

  15. Congratulations, mate.
Haven't been to your blog in a while, or to SFF, so I did not even know that you were going to be a dad. My son will be seven months old in a couple of days, and he is already a handful. First few months are the hardest, especially if the kid has colic, and then it does NOT get any easier, but you get callous to it (i think that is the right expression)
    I hope everything goes well.
    Cheers
