The World According to Americans

I saw this going around on Facebook and I had to repeat it here because I'm still laughing at it.
(Note: I love Europe and even lived there for 2 years so not all opinions shown above are held at The Stamp, although it's pretty accurate)

  1. I guess Americans don't even acknowledge Africa.

  2. This is such a funny map. I like that Canada is empty.

  3. Haha, that is one of the funnier parts of the map. I like the Santa part too. :)

  4. A show down here called The Chaser once did a skit where they showed a map they'd drawn of the world to people in the street and it displayed the words North Korea on Australia and South Korea on Tasmania (that's the teeny triangle shaped island down the bottom), I'm not sure that these were real responses or not, but people were amazed at how large North Korea was in relation to South Korea. Of course Australians used to get the response from Americans where they said where they were from: "Oh right, Australia, that's next to Germany."

  5. That's a good one. When I talk about the time I spent in Switzerland, everyone always talks about how it's cold in Sweden or something like that. Or, do they eat Swedish fish. So funny.

  7. Haha, I know. Well, the difference between Britain and England are lost on us even. :)
