I've only read his first series, Tyrants and Kings, which is a cool mix between fantasy and technology in a gritty world of political intrigue.
The Jackal of Nar
The Grand Design
The Saints of the Sword
His next series is the Lukien Trilogy, which I own, but have yet to get to and he recently came out with Starfinder, a young adult novel. Good to have you back!
I have not read any or even heard of John Marco till now. His books do look good. I am going to have to look around his blog a little more and at his books as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this little piece of information.
No prob. He's definitely good and has a different take on fantasy, which I liked a lot. His characters are pretty grey too, so it's hard to root for one set over the others. They all tend to be good and bad at the same time, which I like every now and then.
ReplyDeleteOoh, that sounds like a series I'd like.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, hey, found your blog at Book Blogs' Blog Networking group. I like what you have to say so I linked you on my blog. Hope you don't mind. :D
Sweet, thanks! I just checked out your blog and I'm a fan. Good stuff that is.
